Side Hustle Spark 311: Email Marketing Best Practices [HubSpot]

With its updated email marketing suggestions list, HubSpot checks in with some very useful content for side hustlers.

Chances are some folks haven’t considered a number of these items, including:

— The 5-Second Test

— Keep your email between 500 and 650 pixels wide

— Optimize the email’s preview text

Side Hustle Spark 307: Digital Marketing in 2022 [Neil Patel]

Check out Neil’s tips on dealing with digital marketing in 2022 and beyond.

How to differentiate yourself and your products/services?

Tip #1: There’s too much content. Use steps. Use data. Give a fresh perspective.

Tell your own stories. If you can’t offer a fresh perspective, don’t add the content.

Tip #2: Refresh/update your past content.

Tip #3: Add an influencer. ‘Influence’ is here to stay. It may cost you, but it’s worth exploring.

Tip #4: Add upsells and downsells.

Tip #5: Use multiple channels. “Take an omnichannel approach.”

Here’s hoping your bank accounts in 2022
will be saturated as well.

Best of luck!

Some of my favorites include:

— ‘Day in the LIfe’

— Fact checks

— Failures

Games

— Microsites

So the challenge is to narrow down from this list the items that work for you (or a virtual assistant) as a creator and for your audience. Good luck!
